Microsoft cetification 70-536

Hi,
This is the first time I planning give a try for Microsoft Certification in .NET. After browsing, I came to know that 70-536 is the first certification that is about the basic application development.
But, Iam confused as to how to proceed with the preparation??
Any suggestions would be of great help!!
