Manager or Architect?

Hi All, Myself saravanakumar. Having 4 years of experience in Asp.Net. I started understanding that its my time to declare what I wants to be. :-) I understood there are two possible ways I can switch to in future. 1. Manager Role. ( pros: Higher salary. Job Safety. cons: I am a coder. I am proud of it. I never liked to manage excel sheet and irresponsible peoples). 2. Architect ( pros: My dream to build cohesive systems will become true. cons: No Job security and higher salary). I am confused with in which way I have to direct myself.? manager or architect? because both requires different preparation? Please advicse
