Make menu active while different page selection : Masterpage

Question

HI All ,

 

I want to make the menu selection to be active , while selecting different page selection in menu. it should be expanded.I have created master page for design.How can i implement it .give suggestion with sample code.

 

 

 

after that click that summary sale , it redirect to summarysales page but it shows as like follows.  

 

 

i require to make that summary sale menu item to be active.
