Mac iOS vs Windows 7

So recently, I am developing iPhone apps on a MacBook Pro. OS is latest. I am sure Safari browser is latest too.

What I have noticed is, the website browsing is slower than my Sony Windows 7 machine. Is it just me or Mac is slow in general?
