Lotus Notes to SharePoint Migration Using QUEST

Question

I saw the article about using Quest to migrate Notes to Sharepoint.

I used it to migrate several files to sharepoint in 2014 and no longer use it.

I have a question I should have asked their tech support at that time but didn't think about it until now.

 

I migrated a file with over 12,000 records into a list.  this is over the 5000 record threshold.

When I  select columns to search it doesn't give me any problems.  this is good.

 

Now, I recently loaded another list from access with 10000 records.  First I loaded 100 records and created indexes.  then loaded another 10000 records. 

I can search the file and create limited views, but if I try to select a column to search I get this message.  I am wondering how the file Quest built works but mine doesn't.
