Looking for push technology for data change broadcasting

Hi,

 

suppose we may store our data in xml file or database. so we may need to notify our client when any data will be changed. so tell me what best possible way exist in .Net technology.

 

i know people refer to use sql dependency but  sql dependency is not good and not push technology rather it is long polling. so please guide me if any best push technology exist in .Net which automatically broadcast data change in sql server database.
