Logon problem

hi all,


i am facing a problem with my dc the whole enviroment is like this :

1.root domain
2.child domain1
3.child domain2
4.tree domain

now i have created a user in root domain and set the policy that user will change the password at next logon now when the child domain1 login from the user of root domain its work fine but the when child domain2 login  form the user of root domain it changes the password but cannot log him in. the user of root domain is also working fine from tree domain only one child domain cannot log him in. i have checked all the trusts time sync and replication issue but all in vain. plz send me the solution asap.
