Can a ListView Control be used to display data from a sql server database table? If so is it more efficient than using a dataset table? Also can someone direct me to a sample of using a listview control with a database? Thanks, David Watson

Not sure why you are comparing a ListView with dataset table? Both are two different things. Yes, a ListView or any other Windows control can be used to display data from a SQL Server database. You read data in a DataSet/DataTable and bind it to any control. See ADO.NET section. There are plenty of samples on data binding.
