Linked Library Naming Conventions

Just throwing a question out there as I have noticed for a long time linked libraries, ".dll" files, having such interesting names. Im curious, what naming convention do the rest of you follow when you create dll's? I seem to have very mundane library names, such as ApplicationSettings.dll and DataManagement.dll. Just wondering what else is out there =D
