jquery with asp.net

i use  one master  page .master page have menu item

 

i merge master page in  my index page. and  index.aspx page . i use multiselect dropdown list with checkbox using jquery . when i select the dropdownlist  the menu font size  autommatically increase   how solve this problem  . i use both IE and chrome.  .
