Caveat - this is NOT spam.. crawling the discussion on this board about working as an independent programmer or freelance consultant, I found a page that has some fascinating stats about how much C# and C developers make in today's current economy. I'ev also read a lot of people on this board claiming C is a "niche ;anguage" but the job stats and work activity on this freelancer developer trends page for C shows a positive general up trend.
