Paid: Yes-DOELocation: Springfield, MOType: Full Time/PermanentEssential Duties/Responsibilities• Articulate and represent Engineering architectural and technical standards and best practices on sales, customer, and support projects.• Support the services process through project scoping, integration planning, installation, and training.• Support the solution delivery by customizing the user interface (skins) and developing platform compatible solutions. This includes creating or customizing platform components, or other technical components.• Perform Product Support duties, including Configuration, installation, and troubleshooting product installations.• Provide Services group with senior technical support, customer onsite technical work, strategic and tactical technical direction for implementations, and other aid as needed.• Support the customer though onsite diagnostics and trouble shooting.QualificationsEducation• B.S in Computer Science or similar degree field; or equivalent experienceExperience/Skills• 5+ years experience in software implementations and project management or similar experience in the software development arena that would translate well into the desired responsibilities. • Experience developing in industry standard programming languages (preferably .NET C#)• Experience in HTML, XML, XSLT, ASP, server-side and client-side script for browsers, Web services• Experience with multiple operating systems and hardware environments• Ability to adapt to the ever-changing Duck Creek product line as well as the technical environments in which you will be involved during customer implementations• Experience with database systems, SQL language and database design• Experience in/understanding of the insurance industry; rating, underwriting or other is a plusPersonal Characteristics• Proven track record working as a liaison between business and technology groups• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written• Must be able to conduct demonstration/training sessions to potentially large audiences of highly technical people and/or company executives• Must be highly organized and possess strong attention to detail • Must be able to work under the pressure of tight deadlines and be able to adjust to changing priorities • Must be able to display judgment and sound decision making with minimal supervision and be capable of gathering and prioritizing information from various sources to assist in critical service decision-making• Highest degree of honesty and integrity• Team player that puts the success of the company ahead of their own personal success• Results, action-oriented, with a “whatever it takes” attitude• Shows concern for quality in their work and practices continuous improvement• Interacts professionally, appropriately and courteously with customers, other outside parties and co-workersWork Environment• Must be willing to up to travel as much as 50%Are you a Duck?
