Is this the right time to do Project management course?

Question

I am a .net developer with 3 years of experience. I will be moving to Canada permanently in few months. I am planning to take up Project management course. But i am confused whether this is the right time to do the project management course or not? Should I take up project management course now or should I continue in .net development field ? Can anyone help me?
