Is there be any possibility of getting a lock in a particular row?

Hi all, I am using postgress with flask and sqlalchemy. But while running/dubbging the code, dB.session.commit() hangs and my execution goes to a halt state. Does someone has any idea? It would be more helpful for me. Is there be any possibility of getting a lock in a particular row?
