Is SnapShot Replication in sql server only take the image

Question

i have configured snapshot replication in sql server from three different server one is acting as a publisher one is acting as a distributer and one is acting as subscriber but after successfully configuring i am only getting an snapshot of database table which is selected while configuring but not the data which is present in that so my question is is snapshot only take the image of the table or as well as data present it.
