Is MCA a good career option?

Question

I'm a bachelor student pursuing BCA as I'm interested in programming even i was to join b tech but due to less marks in higher school examinations I couldn't.

 Now, I'm preparing for JNU MCA entrance but then I'm confused because I came through a site clearly mentioning that MCA demand is lessened in this hi tech world.

Please suggest me a good career plan after BCA.
