Is it is posible to fetch the data using cursor through sql 2005 in Asp.net?

Hi Friends,
    Is it is possible to fetch the data using cursor through sql 2005 in Asp.net? If yes then how its work?
As in Using cursor in sql we can fetch the next,previous,first and last data, Suppose in an application having the button first,next,previous..etc.Then We I click on next button , the next record from the cursor is supplied, How can it possible Please give an example also.
