Is it good idea to become a Blockchain developer?

I'm having almost 3.5 years of experience with Microsoft stack, I also worked with Ethereum Blockchain. My current manager asked me to work full time as a Blockchain developer instead working with .NET development. As we can see hype of Blockchain in current market, would it be a good idea to switch my career path to Blockchain? What is the future scope of Blockchain?
