Invalid printer specified in Crystal Reports in ASP.net

Question

Hi All,

Recently we have migrated the Crystal report version to 13 and the asp.net application framework version to 4.0 and it runs in Windows 2012 server.

 

Some times when we print the report it works fine but after some time it throws the below error. We have to manually re-start the server to print the reports again.

 

Kindly check and provide your help on this.

 

Invalid printer specified. temp_e53631e7-4ae1-48d1-91e2-57ecb954b3af {510782D2-67B7-483B-8CFD-90433C51EFE5}.rpt

at CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers.PrintOutputControllerClass.ModifyPrinterName(String newVal)

at CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.PrintOptions.set_PrinterName(String value)
