integrate visual studio online with salesforce

Question

I want to integrate visual studio online and salesforce . I do not want to use any paid third party. I am a salesforce developer but new for visual studio online. I have integrated salesforce and visual studio online with help of zapier but zapier is paid. If someone will give idea of integration on visual studio online side even that will be great help. Please help.
