Input control and web page

C# always refers to the ID and javascript can refer to both, but the old ASP used the Name parameter. Confussed yet? Lee

The problem was that id and name were not hte same. Thanks

I guess if you put runat=server, it'll change the ID of that control. Check it (ID) from the html source. ( Hmm, you have different name and id... I don't remember which one you should use here. Try setting them to be the same. But if it works now, it should work with server controls ,too ) Sorry, can't try it myself right now and thus can't give better hints, later.
