infopath information store to the sharepointlist

Question

Hi All,

I have designed a Form Template in InfoPath, with this i want to save the data to a Sharepoint List. I have placed this Infopath Form in a XmlFormViewwebpart and gave the Sharepoint List location as SaveLocation for the Webpart. By thisicoudn't save data.....

1 i have a created a Sharepoint list with a column names

2 I have a created a Infopath form which i need in that fields only i created the sharepoint list cloumns name only

question is

how can i save the infopath format like sharepoint list path or documents path or library path

Hi, I selected "Submit data" option only but my data is not stored can you give the reason advance thanks

It seems your data connection is not properly formed, So create a new data connection and select connetion type as submit data as like belew image Then Select To a Document library option and provide the URL of your Document Library Then Clcik Finish and check the whether you can save the FORM in that library .. First test the Submit Form to the Library.. and then add Email fuction when form saved to library successfully

Hi Segar, U take the sharepoint list in infoapth desginer or select list in infoapth desginer can you give u explained that method only i tried but not stored in the list

And Finally in Submit Rule, i have selected the action and added three condition to submi the Form Result - My Custom List My Document Library 3 Email Let me know, if still you have doubt

Hi Venkateswarulu, Here i have created one custom list with two column, one is Title (default) and another one is Field1 ( created through InfoPath ) Then I Have created three Data connection, 1 is Main Data Connection ( To submit data to list ) 2nd is Submit Data Library ( To save form in the library) 3rd is Email Submit ( To send an email. And below is my Form

same process i applied already but only one condition is working i.e email only is working but i need both email and we need data stored in the sharepoint list advance thanks

Yes, Its possible .. First Create a custom List and customize with InfoPath Form then write a rule on submit button with action submit data to Document library ( create another data connection to your library)

Create Form Library in your site and map your infoPath with that library using data connection, or you can create a data connection for submit option..
