increment numbers every time save into database?

Question

im trying to increment numbers every save into database but my problem is how to set limit range for example 1, 2, 3, and then the next number is back to 1.? my code is working to increment but i dont know how to set limit and return to numbers. ill try some code to set limit it doesnt work. im beginner in c#.
