Inconsistent display of forms elements within Visual Studio 2005
Oct 16 2008 1:34 PM
I am working on a project with some co-workers. When I give them a copy of my VS2005 solution, and they open it on their machines, some of the elements on the forms (buttons, backgrounds, etc.) are not displayed the same as on my computer when opening the same exact files.
For example, buttons might be displayed as black with black text against a black background, making them unreadable/unusable. The properties are set as the defaults when the button is created, not changed by either of us, yet displayed completely differently both within VS and when the program is run (that is to say, they are displayed when run from VS as they are in the designer for a given computer).
Does anyone have any idea why th is might be happening and what to do about it?
