i want to make a mathematics based application?

Hi, i am student of civil engineering and i want to create an app totally based on mathematics.
can yiu just guide me with the conversions and other stuff like changing MKS to FPS system, sorry for stupid questions but i am totally in learning phase. please clear my doubts
