how to suspend the step when exception occurs

Hi,

I wrote a program to copy around 10 GB of data. The program contains loops and if condition.

My problem is:

If i get exception in the one folder I wanted to suspend current step and follows next step in the loop.

Depending on the complexity of the code you might be able to do this using try/catch statements:

foreach(string dirPath in Directory.GetDirectories(somePath))
{
try
{
// do something with dirPath
}
catch(Exception e)
{
// if exception occurs, this value of dirPath will be skipped
// code to log exception if necessary
}
}
