How to store data in azure iot using visual studio?

In C# is there way can connect to my azure iot where can store my data or write data to the cloud. Thereafter that data can be displayed on my dashboard as Analytics. Objective is want to you azure to view streaming of data without using power bi as a tool to virtualize my streaming. They must reference my fields i created in sql database to my azure storage. I know in trial subscription you cannot create output stream analtyics. Help will be highly appreciated, thanks.
