HOW TO SET FILTER

Question

 STEP1--
                 i have list name itemlist,
                 in itemlist  have 50 item

STEP2--
               
               I want to show only 10 item when user1 login

               (HOW TO SET FILTER)

                PL Z Explain it


 so pl z solve my problem, if anyone have idea
