How to send repeater items in Inactive mode?

Hi I Have a Problem in my Application.

I Have A Repeter.I am Showing all items in that repeater.In that If I select one or more items with checkbox and click on InActive Button In Footer It has to go to InActive mode.how to solve this problem can you plz seng the code for this.
