How to select columns which have NULL Values in table

I Have Below table with name tbl_custmaster

want to show only those column whose have null values.

ex.- select * from tbl_custmaster where custno=1

then required below output.

col1	col2	cul4
NULL	NULL	NULL

declare table @table1 (
      col1 nvarchar(50),
      col2 nvarchar(50),
col3 nvarchar(50),
col4 nvarchar(50))

insert @table1 (select col1, col2, col3, col4
FROM tbl_custmaster
where custno = 1)

SELECT IfNull(col1, '*') as col1
from @table1
where col1 = '*'
union
SELECT IfNull(col2, '*') as col2
from @table1
where col2 = '*'
union
SELECT IfNull(col3, '*') as col3
from @table1
where col3 = '*'
union
SELECT IfNull(col4, '*') as col4
from @table1
where col4 = '*'

Please try this . This may solve your problem , but i have not tried it on my machine.

want this query per customer only.

do you want this query per customer or any column value null in the table . If second option is your choice, then how do you wish to see col1, col2 & col4 for customer no 2 ?
