How to Remove Host Protected Area (HPA) of ATA Hard disk under windows with API calls????
Sep 26 2005 5:57 AM
I wish to remove Host Protected Area(HPA) of Hard Disk in Windows only through API calls... I found in Linux version ie, "setmax.c" which should be ported to windows... It shouldn't be written through Device Driver becaz for driver loading service be created...Whenever service is created, service key for app. is stored in Registry that shouldn't be happened due to SRS...Please send me the solution asap... Thanks in advance..... Regards, Mohan
