how to maitaine page sate when back clicks using jquery

i have a search box like google when serch i am getting hyperlinks related to that when clicking on hyperlink navigateing to another page there i have back button when clicks on that i am navigateing to search page but there is no hypelinks below searchbox how i will maitaibne that using jquery pls send the code
