How to get which Saturday, Sunday today is in current month

Question

Hi Friends,

 

I am working on Human Resources Management project and have been assigned attendance module and i have a scenario where HR department can set a particular day as week-off and they also can set which of that particular day in the month will be declared as week-off eg. 1st Saturday, 2nd Saturday etc.

 

while working on get attendance module, how would i know which saturday or sunday this is in current month.

 

please help..
