How to get telephone call in your application

Question

hello everyone,
I got one project where I have to populate datagrid with calling person phone number.
when the user call us the number should display on the screen and by matching that number I have to extract data from database and display them in remaining bottom fields.
Does anyone know which senerio I have to follow and how do I connect my application with telephony system.
