How to get data from DB if we click on link

Question

Hi this is harsha,i am doing a project on single page appliaction.Im having a doubt in my project.I have created a table in MySqlWorkbench and im able to fetch that data in my Visual studio tool.What i want is i have to do is i should create a link .And then after creating link if i click on that link my data fromDB should be displayed.I had tried searching on google for solution but im not able to find the solution.Can anyone of guys help me out with this.
