How to do Remember me functionality in Login in mvc

Hi friends,My project is .net core project.I tried with Google solutions but it's not working.when I place authentication block in web.config getting visual studio error.Unable to add system.web.security namespace and forms authentication related namespace.Please tell me the remember me functionality in MVC asp.net core project.
