How to create test cases for IOT devices/Mobile?

I have created a an IOT application device 2 cloud and vice versa, i want to know if there is an examples. As to how to create test cases for IOT application both hardware either in arduino or mobile in IOS and android. Help will be highly appreciated and feedback, thanks again.
