How to create chat application using asp.mvc4 ....?

Actually now a days we can able to see that chat, some website at the corner of the website they create chatting options if been someone in online it will show green icons notification .so i want to try that one please help me ,share some link for that.

Please help me for that Chatting options if anybody know this topic please share some code or share some referral links..i am a begginnar in MVC so share some Links Whatever it is if you have Related to that Please share me
