How to copy large folder using Remote Desktop connection

Hi I have a remote machine in which i have a folder of size 227 MB , I am trying to copy it then after 10-14 minutes it gives unexpected error although i have stable connection .

1-I want to get it know is there any other way to transfer it easily . I am using LAN as well as WAN
