How do I make my credits like the ending of portal?

This question may be dumb, but I really like the ending of portal because the credits were kinda cool and I thought if I could add somthing like that to the credits to my program then it would make my program seem a bit better. I was thinking of just doing an animation and adding it to my program credits, but I think coding it may be better in some ways.
