How do i combine 2 db table to another 1

Question

Hello now i have 2 tables in my database which is 'Customer' and 'Pet'

so i now i need to let the customer choose a pet and adopt it..

so how should i do it?? so when the customer adopts a pet, then the customer name and the pet adopted name will be in a new db table?
