How can I change Date/Time format in database?

Dear All, I wanted to remove 12.00.00AM from PaymentDate. I fount that when I change MS Access 2007 PaymentDate type as Text then the time is removed but then I am not able to search. PaymentDate is now as Date/Time in database type. Would you like to suggest me how can I save database as just Date not Date/Time? C# and visual studio 2015 for dataentry application for desktop. If it is not possible then how can I get the actual input time?
