Hide\disable Edit in ribbon and ECB menu

"I have a library with column name "Status" it contains two values "Approved" and "Rejected",if the status is "approved" he should not be able to edit the item, if "Rejected" he\she should be able to edit"

Note:- not edit properties am talking. Its document edit like(Word doc, excel, Pdf, notepad etc)
