Help: Use Internet Explorer for reports
Dec 4 2007 4:09 AM
Hi, I am new to VS2005 and C# and only involved with desktop programming (for now). Our customers who possess only Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, require all reports to be emailed. The body of my 1 page reports consist of tables and line graphs. The 1mb Pdf file exported from ReportViewer is not feasible to email. Is it possible to do away with ReportViewer and report directly into the IE browser, ready to be emailed. If so what new technologies and tools will I need (eg. Webforms / Html) How can I accomplish this. Thanks
