Help me for Draw textbox

Question

In my Painter,I need to draw a string in the canvas ,I want to do this like windows Painter.
I want to draw a textbox in the canas,and I can change the size of the textbox by mouse. 
But how to do this ? I can't draw a textbox on my canvas! 
Can you help me about this??Thank you very much!
