Google API for Getting short URL from Address

Question

I have checked on google maps. It's provide short addres URL. We have entered address in google maps then it provide URL from share link option like - https://goo.gl/maps/ByfnX56cYEJ2 . This URL helpfull for direction.

 

Is there any google API so i can fullfill my work.

 

I am not talking about google shortner api. I have already use this. It convert long web address URL to short URL. But i want the API, in that i need to pass address to the api and it give me URL which help to direction. and this URL is very short.
