good laptop for .NET development?

I need a desktop-replacement laptop that will double as a .NET development machine. So, I need it to run VS.NET 2003 and SQL Server 2000 smoothly. Has anyone had any experience with the Dell Inspiron 9300? Is the 1.7 Ghz Pentium M fast enough? 5400 RPM drive or is 7200 a must? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
