Formatting a DatagridView
Nov 7 2007 12:04 AM
I am trying to format a unbound datagridview. I have 4 columns I added to the datagrid to display my data. I want to have a solid header above my column headers.
I am having three problems with my datagrid. The first is that I cannot figure out how to get the solid header above my column headers. I have searched the GUI properties but everything in the properties that I found affects the colums only.
The second is that when i added the colums it automatically added a blank row to the datagridview. I do not want this row to be added. I only want a row to be added when I populate data.
The third problem I believe is related to the second. When I first add a item to my datagridview it puts a blank row in it. So I will have 2 blank rows at the end of my datagrid. I cannot get rid of these. I have seen examples of this with datagrid but datagridview has different properties and I cannot get it to work.
Thanks
