FCM JavaScript API

Hi All,
 
Has somebody implemented the following FCM JavaScript API in a web application?
 
https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/js/client
 
I am trying to implement this in an ASP.NET application but not getting it to work.
 
Please suggest some relevant resources.
