Extremely ambiguous error

Okay, I thought the error of the infamous Microsoft meaningless error messages was over... but now I'm getting this on a client machine... My .Net app fails to run, all I get is a MessageBox with the following 'Fatal Error' CLR error: 8007000b. The program will now terminate. The machine is running Win98SE with .Net framework 1.1. Anybody have any ideas? -James
